Policy, Organisation, and Rules

Scouting is governed by our Policy, Organisation, and Rules (POR). POR provides support and guidance to all levels within Scouting, to help everyone run Scouting. Following revisions, and updates, the current edition is September 2020.

As Lowry is part of The Scout Association, we are governed by the above rules. You can access POR at scouts.org.uk/por.

District Constitution and Governing Documents

Lowry is a Registered Charity in England and Wales (Charity Number 514098). As part of this we have a legal requirement to provide a governing document which outlines how we operate.
