We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

We are Salford, one of the 7 Scout Districts in the Greater Manchester West County.

Welcome to Salford Scouts

There are 17 Scout Groups, 4 Explorer Units, 2 Young Leader Units and a Scout Network in Salford, across the entire metropolitan borough.

Each week over 750 young people in our local community aged between 4-18 are involved in Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

We have over 200 adult volunteers who help to run the District and its Groups, providing fun activities for our young people while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future.
